An area dedicated to the remembrance of the 475,000 Spanish refugees fleeing Franco’s Spain as soon as late January 1939. A didactic scenography reconstitutes their journey from the beginning of the Spanish Civil War to the detention in the concentration camp of Argelès-sur-Mer. The Memorial has a hall for temporary exhibitions.
