Description
The 2026 French Coastal Lifesaving Championships for ‘Youth and Masters’ will take place on 19 and 20 September in Argelès-sur-Mer.
For the second year running, this national competition will be hosted by the Association Sauvetage Sportif Argelésien (SSA). It will bring together the Benjamins, Minimes and Masters categories, with nearly 400 competitors expected, including around 200 young people and 200 masters.
These young athletes represent the elite of tomorrow. Through their commitment, passion and determination, they embody the future of French lifesaving and, as such, deserve our full attention and encouragement. Alongside them, the competitors in the Masters category will, as they so skilfully do, bring their experience, enthusiasm and spirit of camaraderie to the event, in an atmosphere that is always characterised by respect and friendship.
The exceptional setting of Argelès-sur-Mer, combined with the professionalism and dedication of the volunteers from the Association Sauvetage Sportif Argelésien (SSA), led by Antonin Héracle, and its President, Mrs Nathalie Héracle, will provide the ideal conditions for the success of this national event.
