Description
In partnership with the Amélie-les-Bains World Dance and Music Festival.
Founded in 2015 in Montevideo (Uruguay), the Ballet Folklórico Añoranzas explores, shares and promotes Uruguayan folklore and keeps the tradition alive through dance. Hailing from all corners of this small Latin American country, the dancers open the doors to their rich and diverse culture, in which ‘Afro’ and Latin roots coexist and intertwine. From candombe to malango, from milango to tango, not to mention traditional rural dances, the dancers of the Ballet Folklórico Añoranzas reveal their country’s folklore to you; a folklore born of diversity. A wonderful discovery!
