Craft market

The night-time craft market opens its doors in the middle of June and continues until mid-September. The carefully selected craftsmen welcome you in their chalets every day from 5 pm to midnight. So there’s no excuse to take a digestive stroll and leave with some nice souvenirs.

Some of the stalls have been there for more than thirty-five years, when the market was created. The atmosphere is friendly and soothing, especially in the evening when the chalets are illuminated. These enthusiasts are available to discuss their proud creations.

The exhibitors also produce their objects directly on their stands. It is fascinating to see a craftsman in action and knowing exactly where the product comes from is a testament to its quality. As for the raw material, it is often Catalan! The riches of the Argelès region are even honoured, such as the painted and sculpted Argelès bamboo stand, for example.

As for the diversity of the stands, there is something for everyone! Leather belts, original family portraits, made-to-measure shoes, travel kits, jewellery, cork handbags, so many pretty souvenirs to take away in your suitcase.
