Argelès Carnival
Get your disguises, sequins and confetti ready, the Argelès-sur-Mer carnival is back - and twice over!
Sunday 1 March (8 March if postponed) starting at 15:00 on the main road (in front of the post office)
Carnival floats and groups on foot will parade through the streets of the village, accompanied by wild dancers and happy stilt-walkers, to the rhythms of batucadas and other bandas. They'll carry you away in a whirlwind of good humour under a shower of confetti all the way to Place Gambetta. There, the public will be asked to vote for the most beautiful floats and groups on foot.
