Situated at an altitude of almost 800 metres, the Tour de la Massane offers a fabulous panorama over the whole of the Roussillon plain and the Mediterranean coast. Set up by the kings of Majorca, it was used until the 18th century as a watchtower but also as a landmark from the sea.
