Cuban-inspired popular music. La Mecha's repertoire ranges from son and reggaeton to son-montuno, salsa, cumbia, merengue and timba. Led by double bassist and bandleader Denis Jacquest, La Mecha brings together some of the most experienced artists from the south of France, including Manu Bizeau (Jimmy Bosch, Yuri Buenaventura, etc.) and Thibaud Dufoy, a pianist who has won several jazz competitions.
