Argelès beach

From 01 June to 30 September, 5 car parks on the Argelès-sur-Mer seafront will be paying*, every day from 9am to midnight. These are the Casino, Platanes and Grau car parks in the beach centre, the Port car park and the Sardane car park in Racou.
The 15 other car parks on the beach remain free (see map below).

The first hour is free of charge, thereafter the rates are hourly. It is possible to take out a daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly pass, directly from the parking meters. You can find all the rates below.

If there is a risk of overrunning the time limit, you can recharge your parking remotely, using your smartphone.

*Parking on the public highway is free for disabled people who hold the CMI-S or CES-CSPH card

Car parks

There are three blue zones in the town centre which operate with a parking disc.
The three areas concerned are the Marasquer car park (50% of spaces in the blue zone), the central ring of the Espace Liberté (50% of spaces in the blue zone), and the Route Nationale.

The parking disc is free, and is available at the Town Hall (shopkeepers in the town centre also distribute them).
Users can park in the blue zones with the disc for 1h30, from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday morning.

The commune has parking zones with different uses:
– white zones: parking spaces are free for 7 days.
– Blue zones: parking spaces are free for 1.5 hours with a parking disc. These zones encourage journeys and stops in the town centre, and the circulation of vehicles with compulsory rotation.
– minute stops on the main road: spaces are free for 20 minutes. These parking spaces near the shops are useful for occasional stops.
